Frequently Asked Questions

Where Did You Find This Money?

Through our state of the art intensive research, we located these funds. They are currently being held at government agencies. These surplus funds are a result of property that you or your family owned that was sold to pay the taxes due on the property, Child Support paid, Bankruptcy filed or a Foreclosure.

I assume it's not the much money, so I don't see why I should send in the agreement.

We've found that the individuals who believe that they are missing the least money are often the recipients of the most money when the check for the funds is issued. Since we only earn our fee when the funds are recovered, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by sending in the agreement.

How Did You Find Me? Why Didn’t the Government Agency Contact Me?

Our research team uses a number of public records and cross references those names with our databases to locate owners of the funds. It is possible that at one time the government agency tried to contact you at the only address it had on file. However, we at TWG will use all available avenues to contact you.

How Much is My Claim? Where is it Being Held?

We provide you with documentation of the amount being held, however it is possible that a creditor may be entitled to a portion of the claim if applicable. Often we can prove that the creditors claims are improper thus releasing all your funds to you.

Can’t I Find the Money on my Own?

The governmental agencies and unclaimed websites we use DO NOT post these surplus funds accounts online.

Why Should I Use Your Company?

To get the funds that are rightfully due to you. Most of the assets we locate aren’t available by searching the internet.  It is unlikely that without the aid of a company like ours, you will able to locate the funds or even be notified of their existence by the agency holding them.

Does The Wilson Group Charge a Fee?

No.  We work on a contingency basis and are only paid if and when we are successful in recovering the claim.

How Long Will It Take To Get Paid?

Payment can be made in as little as 30 days after the claim is approved by the government agency.  However, each agency has it’s own timeline and process from which they work from therefore we it can be anywhere from 30 to 90 days.

How Do I Get Started?

Call The Wilson Group TODAY and have one of our representatives assist you in getting the paperwork started.  We can typically deliver the standard recovery agreement and the one-page claim form for the specific government agency within 24 hours.
